A concept that is growing in today’s world and mainly in the areas of education and human resources is the gamification<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

That is why at PlanDinside<\/strong> we have developed a platform called “dingame.app”<\/strong><\/a> that trains, coaches and evaluates work teams, promoting the motivation and commitment of the employees of each of the companies where it has been implemented.<\/p>\n\n

The “digame.app”<\/strong> can be downloaded on any mobile device including computers to deliver a better experience, adjusting to the needs of its customers and users. Its purpose is to humanize digital transformation.<\/p>\n\n

The future of gamification<\/strong> is promising, as, it will experience significant growth by 2025. In the same way, it would become widespread in other areas such as retail, telecommunications, the automotive and healthcare industries, among others.<\/p>\n\n

With the gamification<\/strong> the most routine tasks will become more dynamic and entertaining. In turn, taking learning and training to another level will be the bet in the coming years.<\/p>\n\n

But what is gamification?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Gamification can be defined as learning techniques or strategies through games in education, human resources and personnel selection environments. These techniques are intended to improve learning by enhancing concentration, motivation and effort.<\/p>\n\n

The concept emerged around 2011, however, in 2003 it was mentioned by British computer programmer Nick Pellin, who had invented several key games in the 1980s.<\/p>\n\n

From the beginning, the gamification<\/strong> began to be adapted to different business environments, being the participation of important designers who took the idea to congresses and conferences where the importance of having a playful experience, in a real world, was underlined. Thus the definition began to take on more clarity, being defined as “elements of game design in non-game contexts”.<\/p>\n\n

This educational game technique has been strongly consolidated in the area of education, since, through the game, better results could be obtained among students, opening new horizons to teaching and learning methods.<\/p>\n\n

They can also be applied in the areas of health and wellness, marketing, loyalty programs, education and management.<\/p>\n\n

However, gamification<\/strong>, has become popular in recent years in the fields of training, performance appraisal and human resources. It aims to increase motivation, keep them more engaged and less burdened by daily routines.<\/p>\n\n

In the case of personnel assessment and selection, gamification<\/strong> helps to have key information about candidates’ capabilities, versus conflict resolution and decision making.<\/p>\n\n

How gamification works<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

To develop this learning technique, different elements of playful design<\/a> that respond to general principles of cognition and motivation. Understanding that each exposure to this type of games generates a stimulus that is pleasurable or interesting depending on who is doing it.<\/p>\n\n

This is scientifically associated with our brain chemistry that stimulates pleasure centers which stimulates our ability to concentrate, focus and achieve continuity in a task.<\/p>\n\n
